A Farber Specialty Industries Mobile Command Vehicle arrived at the North Little Rock Fire Department this morning,
June 21, 2004 at 8:30 a.m. The vehicle is built on a Winnebago body with a Work Horse Chassis. The Mobile Command Vehicle will be used by both the North Little Rock Police and Fire Departments. This vehicle will afford
command officers a safe and secure place from which to operate at a major fire department or police department operation. The Mobile Command Center will be housed at Fire Station Number 8. Standby Aerial 1 will then move to Old Station 8, where it will be housed along with the parade pumper. Lettering and emblems still are to be added.
